Staff Experience
DeGolyer and MacNaughton
utilizes an integrated team approach to reservoir evaluation. Each
geographically based division includes among its staff petrophysicists,
geophysicists, geologists, and petroleum engineers who have extensive experience
in specific petroleum-producing regions. Such an approach encourages
D&M’s staff to capitalize on the efficiencies and synergies of shared
knowledge.
For each project, a team is organized to best meet the needs of the client. The interdisciplinary team, led by a project manager, works closely with the client to ensure that the clearest understanding of the reservoir unit is achieved. D&M places considerable emphasis during project execution on communication with our clients, both to maintain a clear project direction and to overcome any potential barriers to timely completion of the study.
D&M has the most knowledgeable and experienced staff of professionals in the consulting business. This balanced team of future-oriented consultants will continue D&M’s commitment to knowledge, integrity, and service well into the next century.
D&M’s large staff of scientists and engineers is complemented by skilled support personnel. The staff utilize state-of-the-art technology created by world-recognized petroleum software companies as well as in-house proprietary software developed to meet challenges of specific reservoirs and reservoir types.
D&M’s professionals have prior work experience with upstream petroleum companies, including majors and supermajors, foreign affiliates of majors, large and small independents, integrated service companies, and national oil and gas companies. These professionals are the products of no fewer than 52 different educational institutions, a diversity that promotes what founder Lewis MacNaughton called "loose thinking" to stimulate new ideas.
