Knowledge and experience, along with leading-edge technology, software and equipment, and the high standard of integrity that DeGolyer and MacNaughton sets for itself, give D&M the ability to provide the finest, most efficient reservoir-evaluation team available to serve its clients, the petroleum industry, and the financial community as a whole.
D&M reports, issued in their traditional green-clad format, are well known in the industry and instantly recognizable throughout the world. The customary D&M report contains responses to a wide range of client interests including:

|
Estimation of reserves and potential resources to be recovered from new
discoveries; Verification of hydrocarbon and mineral reserves and resources; Verification of petrophysical reservoir rock and fluid parameters and characteristics; Geological analysis, interpretation and mapping of stratigraphy, depositional environment, structure and net pay. Reservoir development and performance analysis (including enhanced recovery) using state-of-the-art numerical reservoir simulation models; Evaluation of properties for prospective acquisition or sale; Evaluation of properties to be used as collateral in connection with financing; Evaluation of properties to be contracted or dedicated to a plant or pipeline or other facility where major capital expense or financing is required; or Fulfillment of reporting requirements or requests from various governmental agencies. |
In addition to technical evaluations, D&M provides exploration-related advice to clients for fields with little or no well control and acts on behalf of our clients in technical data rooms to gather and interpret data for prospective oil and gas purchases. D&M provides in-depth technical assessment as well as the requisite economic analyses designed to produce detailed after-tax cash-flow results from which objective purchase decisions and/or development plans can be prepared.
For many of D&Ms assignments, time is of the essence, and our commitment to meet or exceed client deadlines is as critical to our evaluation as the report itself. We pride ourselves in fulfilling this commitment and our clients depend on it.
D&M clients often have longstanding relationships with D&M and rely on recurring services, such as income projections based on current economic conditions or annual reviews of reserves estimates. Such enduring client relationships, based on mutual respect, allow D&M’s professionals to work in a manner similar to auditing, but all D&M analyses and reports are based on sufficient independent work such that D&M can unreservedly support and defend its opinions as realistic and unbiased.
