Major Projects

Recent work has included well performance analysis and forecasting in major tight and shale gas and oil plays in North America. Clem has furthered his work in unconventional resources in the Eagle Ford Shale play by developing an interactive mapping project based on well performance analysis and forecasting production of oil, wet gas, and dry gas wells.

Clem has also involved in assessing the potential value of unconventional resources in the Chicontepec Basin, considered for release in Round 1 of the Mexican Energy Reform. This work has included evaluation of undeveloped fields using a combined experimental design and model-based approach.

In addition, he has worked with Kappa Engineering and senior engineers at D&M on the development of unconventional resources analysis and forecasting software. Along with regular testing, evaluation, and regular use of the software, Clem assisted with the development of an economics export tool that enables the software forecasting data to be used by ARIES Petroleum Economics and Reserves Software.
