Since joining DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 1980, David L. Tucker has specialized in developing economic models that assist in the appraisal of international oil and gas properties, including foreign taxation of petroleum interests. He has analyzed petroleum agreements for most petroleum-producing provinces throughout the world.

Tucker received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980. In 1988, he received a master’s degree in business administration in finance from the University of North Texas. Tucker has served on program committees for the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Hydrocarbon Economic and Evaluation symposiums. He is a member of the International Association of Energy Economics. He was promoted to Vice President at D&M in 1995.
