Davis received a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University in 1999. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He was elected a Vice President at D&M in 2009.

Major Projects

  • Davis has carried out reserves estimation and economic evaluations for oil and gas fields in central European and Asian regions including Orenburg, Western Siberia, the Barents Sea, the Volga-Ural Province of Russia, and Kazakhstan.
  • Davis has experience in gas deliverability modeling used in the evaluation of producing gas fields in Western Siberia. He also performs production and economic analyses using PHDWin performance software and QWEST.
  • He has produced Competent Person’s Reports for assets located in various regions of Russia and has performed numerous reserves estimations for both SEC and PRMS reporting requirements for private and state-owned companies.
  • His reservoir engineering experience includes conducting reserves estimations, analyzing historical production performance trends, production forecasting, material-balance estimates, gas deliverability studies, and waterflood studies. Davis has gained expertise in estimating reserves of over 100 new and mature multi-reservoir oil and gas fields in Russia and Kazakhstan, including analyzing waterflood performance, black oil reservoir modeling, and estimates of liquefied natural gas.
