Roland C. Froboese joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2005 as a specialist in reserves estimation. Prior to joining D&M, he worked as an engineer for Bison Energy Partners.

Froboese graduated in 2003 from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering. In 2009, he earned his master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a Registered Professional Engineer. Froboese was elected a Vice President at D&M in 2012.

Major Projects

  • Froboese served as project coordinator and also worked reserves estimations for countrywide evaluations of Algeria and Kuwait.
  • He has worked on projects covering most of the oil and gas fields in Austria and certain gas fields in Romania.
  • He assisted in the development of internal software that D&M uses for volumetric analysis, reserves estimations, and economic evaluations.
