Oksana A. Teslya began her employment at DeGolyer and MacNaughton’s Moscow office in 2008 as a reservoir engineer specializing in reserves estimation and oil and gas property evaluations. Before joining D&M, Teslya worked as an engineer in the research center at Gazpromneft, focusing on PVT analysis, reservoir modeling, and fracture stimulation.

Teslya graduated from Dostoevsky University, Omsk, with a degree in chemistry in 2005, and in 2006 she graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a Master’s degree in petroleum engineering. She was elected a Vice President of D&M’s Moscow branch in 2016. Teslya is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is fluent in both Russian and English.

Major Projects
Teslya has conducted reserves estimations on more than 200 fields situated in the Russian Federation and other countries of the former Soviet Union. She coordinates hydrocarbon reserves evaluation for leading oil and gas companies in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Serbia.

Her responsibilities extend beyond her own technical evaluations to include internal coordination of multidisciplinary teams and oversight of the preparation of reserves reports under both SEC and PRMS guidelines.

Teslya is an instructor for the firm’s SEC and PRMS reserves seminars specializing in reserves definitions and reservoir engineering practices.
