  • In Pakistan, Benavente performed detailed petrophysical analyses of the Eocene reservoirs of the Qadirpur field as well as the early Paleocene reservoirs of the Sui and Pirkoh fields.  He also studied the Uch and Kadanwari fields.
  • In Yemen, he has performed petrophysical evaluations in the Jannah and Marib areas.
  • In Indonesia, Benavente analyzed well logs and cores from the giant Tangguh gas field and helped identify the complex mineralogy, including the thinly laminated sands. In addition, he evaluated reservoirs in several small fields in the Malacca Strait. In the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area, Benavente analyzed well logs and cores from the giant Cakerawala offshore gas field and the Suriya offshore field.
