Javid R. Zeynalov
Geophysicist

Javid R. Zeynalov joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton’s Dallas office in 2018 as a geophysicist in the Reservoir Studies Division. Prior to joining D&M, Zeynalov worked 5 years for CGG and 4 years for Petrobras America.

Zeynalov earned his bachelor’s degree in geophysical methods from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in 2000 and his master’s degree in geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2004. He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the Dallas Geophysical Society. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian.

Major Projects

Since he joined D&M, Zeynalov has worked as a geophysicist in multidisciplinary projects for oil and gas fields in Algeria, Libya, and Russia. He is actively involved in reservoir characterization in conjunction with other team members, with most of his recent projects involving major plays in Russia.
