Donald H. Michel joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 1982 after working at Schlumberger Well Services for five years. His expertise is well evaluation based on interpretation of logs, core data, and test results. Michel has performed evaluations and field studies in many of the world’s producing provinces.

Michel earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1977. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas and a member of the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts, the Society of Core Analysts, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the Dallas Geological Society. Michel became a Vice President at D&M in 1984.
