Jackson Cook
Jackson D. Cook joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2026 as an Associate Engineer.
Cook received a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University in 2025 alongside a certificate in petroleum entrepreneurship through the Petroleum Ventures Program. Cook is currently working toward a professional license.

Major Projects
At D&M, Cook’s work includes type-well analysis and production forecasting for both proved developed producing and proved undeveloped reserves. He has performed extensive reserves and resources evaluations for both unconventional and conventional plays within the onshore United States.
Cook also has immense experience with non-op deal investment and evaluation. He has performed financial modeling in depth for wells across all major basins and formations in the United States. He has also probabilistically evaluated deals considering changing price environments and has been part of the purchase of multiple well package opportunities.
Additionally, Cook is skilled in various production forecasting software suites, including PHDWin, Aries, Kappa Citrine, ComboCurve, and IHS Harmony.
