Güendalina Lopez joined DeGolyer and MacNaughton in 2022 as an engineering technician and in 2023 she was promoted to engineer for the Asia/Pacific Latin America Division. She previously worked for YPF. Lopez has experience in the estimation of reserves based on the requirements of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS).

In 2021, Lopez received her petroleum engineering degree from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Major Projects

Since joining D&M, Lopez has created solutions and aided ongoing efforts alongside engineers and geologists, increasing efficiencies on established jobs. Lopez has conducted reserves evaluations for clients in Latin America and Pacific Asia using the guidelines of the SEC and in accordance with the PRMS for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. She has estimated oil and gas reserves using standard engineering methods such as volumetric calculations, material-balance methods, and production-performance analysis. She is proficient in OFM, Petroleum Experts, Latex, Saphir, PHDWin, and Sahara.
